Sewickley United Methodist Church

The sanctuary at Sewickley United Methodist Church had not undergone a major remodeling since 1910 and the chancel platform itself was original to the construction of the church in 1885. Styles of worship, technology, and accessibility requirements have changed in the last hundred years, and likewise, congregations have become increasingly sophisticated in their needs and expectations. Renovations included removing the inclined floor, rebuild of the pipe organ installed in 1909, expansion and refinishing of the chapel platform, expand out audio wiring and facilities, installation of new flooring, rearrangement of railings, and refinished woodwork.
